Calgary Podiatrist and Custom Othotic Services

Dr. Jason Lehr, DPM completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Utah prior to his acceptance to the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He also had the privilege to attend his fourth year of medical school at the prestigious USC campus hospital in Southern California for medical rotations where he obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1998. He then completed his post-graduate residency training in podiatric surgery at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Medical Center in 2000. He was appointed chief resident in his final year of residency, which included over-seeing and managing the Baja Project for Crippled Children where on a weekly basis, Doctors and residents would travel to foreign countries to perform advanced medical and surgical procedures on disadvantaged children and adults with complicated foot and ankle deformities. This has evolved into Dr. Lehr's passion for treating children over the last twenty years while working at The Foot Institute. He has a special interest in biomechanics of the foot and ankle and treating both chronic and acute pain syndromes.

Dr. Lehr is a member of the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association, Alberta College of Podiatric Physicians and past member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He resides with his wife and three children and pursues his hobbies including cycling, motocross and mountain biking when he is able to find the time. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys travelling.
